| SeaLife’s proprietary
technology, the result of research by laboratories in the United States and
Europe, has made it possible to effectively replace
the commonly used antifouling agent tributyl tin
(TBT), a biocide banned globally since January 1,
2003.
SeaLife Antifoul Paints are TBT-free, 2003-compatible,
and have been specifically engineered not to leach
their active ingredient, Cuprous Oxide (39%) -
or any biocides, pesticides or other toxins –
into the marine environment.
In addition, SeaLife’s advanced poly acrylic
vinyl copolymer composition ensures easy application
and a super smooth surface for higher speeds and
less fuel consumption.
SeaLife Antifoul Paints are non-ablative, contain
no Teflon or silicones, and do not rely on any
form of “fiber” technology utilized
in competitor’s alternative products, nor
is SeaLife self-polishing.
